Young Adult Services: The Young Adult program was started in 2009 in Cincinnati OH, in the Sisters' newly renovated barn. The 'BARN' is a vibrant gathering space with programs and services dedicated to nurturing young adults. It offers programs designed to enrich individual and community life by exploring and addressing barriers to unity of body, mind and spirit. There are programs devoted to nurturing spirituality, and mind/body wellness classes in addition to educational opportunities in community health, ecology and self development. The 'BARN' also offers a community garden and a number of wholistic therapies, as well as meeting, retreat and reception facilities. |

Our Lady of the Woods: is a senior independent living community for low-income, elderly people. Its objectives and goals are to promote each individual resident’s maximum level of independence and present level of functioning; maintain each individual in the community as long as possible; and avoid premature or inappropriate institutionalization. The facility, which has 20 rooms, is located in Cincinnati OH, nestled on 2.5 acres of land among beautiful white oak trees. It is a short distance from shops, bus lines, churches, and hospitals. Services include three meals per day, coffee hours, snacks, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation to doctor’s appointments. Tamar Place
Located in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine Area, Tamar's Place works in close cooperation with "Off-the-Streets" and "Stop AIDs" to bring comfort, services and help to some of Cincinnati's most marginalized women. Housed in the New Prospect Baptist Church, Tamar's Place offers coffee, snacks, a safe place to rest, and referrals to other agencies that offer more -- if the woman wants it.

Franciscan Haircuts from the Heart: Started in 1995, the mission of the haircut program is to provide professional hair care services for persons of low or no income to help in restoring their dignity and self-confidence during financially debilitating times. It operates a licensed beauty salon for the homeless in downtown Cincinnati OH. Franciscans for the Poor Volunteer Program provides an opportunity for young people and adults to experience a diverse culture, prayers and community living in a simple lifestyle.Franciscans for the Poor is designed to carry out the mission of the Gospel as expressed in the healing ministry of Jesus. Franciscans for the Poor recruits, selects, and places individuals in non-profit agencies giving them the opportunity to bond with others for insight into the causes and effects of poverty and discerning a Franciscan response. The Centennial Barn
Located on the grounds of St. Clare Convent, the Centennial Barn is an historic and beautifully remodeledace - ideal for meetings, parties, concerts, receptions and even the creative arts -- and for building community, giving spiritual direction, holding retreats. The Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Foundation provides a beacon of hope to the lives of the sick and poor people.
